"The Scarehouse" (2014)

Watched "The Scarehouse" (2014). Another terrific Canadian horror film (alongside "Girl House") about two young women (played brilliantly by Sarah Booth & Kimberly-Sue Murray) who set out to enact revenge on their former sorority sisters by luring them to a haunted attraction, and then subjecting them to some grisly torture. Kind of a cross between the "Scream" & "Saw" films, with a nice blend of humor (which thankfully never went over the top) to counterbalance some pretty grim hazing scenes. The movie features an all female cast, each of whom turn in very believable performances, with some great banter back & forth between them. I also liked the way the film told the girls' back story parallel to the main action by cutting back & forth between the two, thus keeping me guessing all the way through as to what the overall picture was. 8 out of 10 for me.
